Parcha filed by Sri Dharmendra Srivastava, Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents no.2, 3 and 4 is taken on record.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Serious issues with regard to the electricity connection having been applied for in respect of the premises in question and non-payment of bills issued against the electricity connection so provided have been raised by means of the present writ petition. The petitioners challenge the demand notice dated 11.8.2015 on the ground that no such connection had been obtained by the petitioners.

In our opinion, interest of substantial justice would be served by permitting the petitioners to file a representation for ventilating their grievances within two weeks from today supported by such documents before respondent no.4. If such a representation is filed before respondent no.4 (Sub-Divisional Officer, Electricity Distribution Division), he shall after due enquiry, and after examine the record and shall pass a reasoned order within six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.

For a period of 8 weeks, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioners.Further action shall abide by the orders to be passed as aforesaid.

The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
