The petitioner is aggrieved by the rejection of his claim for appointment on compassionate ground.
The submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner is that the appointment on compassionate ground has been rejected by Managing Director vide order dated 2.9.2015, mentioning therein that the Corporation is running in losses. On the other hand, the Managing Director vide letter dated 5.9.2015 requested to the Principal Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies, Government of U.P. seeking permission for making appointment on 107 vacant post on account of shortage of man power in various places as double charges with respect to godown have been given and in this background, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the stand taken by the Managing Director in rejecting the claim of the petitioner is unsustainable and against the correct position.
Learned Counsel for the opposite parties prays for and is granted 24 hours time to seek instructions.
