Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A.

The instant Section 482 Cr.P.C. application has been filed for quashing the proceedings of   Case No. 4960 of 2014 (Smt. Mudrika vs. Vishal Khanna @ Sonu and others) under Sections 498-A, 323, 504 & 506 IPC & 3/4 DP Act, Police Station Kalyanpur, District Kanpur Nagar pending before ACMM 2nd Kanpur Nagar.

It is a matrimonial matter.

Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant is prepared for settlement by way of mediation.

In view of the above, the matter is referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court.

The applicant shall deposit before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Allahabad, within a period of three weeks from today, a sum of Rs. 15,000/- by way of demand draft/pay order, in the name of opposite party no. 2,  payable at the district Kanpur Nagar, and that only upon furnishing proof of the said deposit, the office shall issue a certified copy of this order. The said draft shall be handed over to opposite party no. 2 on the conclusion of the mediation proceeding.

Learned A.G.A. has accepted notice on behalf of  respondent no. 1.

Issue notice to respondent no. 2.

Opposite parties may file counter affidavits within a month.

Rejoinder, if any, may be filed within a week thereafter.

List in the week commencing 15.09.2015 before the appropriate court.

Till the next date of listing, further proceedings of the aforementioned case shall remain stayed.
