The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing Consolidation Officer, Jhunngia, Gorakhpur to decide Case No.270 of 2001 filed under Section 12 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953,  within stipulated period.

Without entering into the controversy involved in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to  Consolidation Officer, Jhunngia, Gorakhpur to decide Case No.270 of 2001 filed under Section 12 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953, expeditiously, preferably within a period of  nine months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before the said authority.
