Heard Sri Adeel Ahmad Khan, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents.

In substance, the petitioner appears to be aggrieved by non-disposal of case no. 170/199 (Nafeesa Khatun Vs. Iliyas) pending before respondent no. 1.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no. 1 to decide case no. 170/199 (Nafeesa Khatun Vs. Iliyas) expeditiously in accordance with law, after hearing all concerned, keeping in mind the urgency of the matter and other pending cases of such nature of the previous years in his court, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to the learned counsel for the parties. In case any adjournment is sought for, that can only be granted after imposing cost upon the party seeking adjournment with the direction to deposit the cost by the next date fixed.
