Counter affidavit as well as affidavit of compliance on behalf of the Superintendent of Police, Rampur filed by the State and supplementary affidavit filed by learned counsel for the applicant are taken on record.

Sri Haji S. Kamal Khan, learned counsel for the applicant, Sri R.K. Maurya, learned AGA for the State are present.

It appears from the record that on 27.08.2014 the matter was assigned to Hon'ble Mrs. Ranjana Pandaya, J. and come up before her Lordship on 28.08.2014 and the matter was directed to list in the next cause list. Thereafter, the matter was listed before this Bench on 05.09.2014 and inadvertently it was not pointed out that the matter has already been assigned to Her Lordship and order was passed on 05.09.2014 directing the S.S.P., Rampur to file personal affidavit. Today the said assignment was pointed out by the Bench Secretary of this Bench.

The Court summoned the Joint Register (Listing) on the issue who assured the court that he would look into the matter and take necessary steps in this regard. 

List in the next cause list before appropriate Bench.
