Heard Sri Raghavenndra Dwivedi, learned counsel for the applicants and Sri L.D. Rajbhar, learned AGA for the State.

It has been pointed out by learned counsel for the applicant that the matter pertains to year 1996 and matter was entrusted to C.B.C.I.D for investigation. He submits that the charge sheet has been against the applicants in the year 2008. The applicants have been falsely implicated in the present case and they are in jail since16.09.2014.

Learned AGA, on the other hand, pointed out that applicants are police personnel and it is case of custodial death. He further submits that the trial is lingering on one count or the other at the instances of the applicants and co-accused. They have also filed an application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. before this Court and proceeding was stayed from time to time.

Looking to the nature of allegation made against the applicants and period of detention list after six weeks.
