The petitioner is only licencee of kerosene oil in District Aligarh. His allotted quota is 504 K.L.which has been reduced to 348 K.L. without any reason.
The contention is that quota has been reduced only of Aligarh on a political pressure.
On 20.11.2014, when the matter was taken up, the learned Standing Counsel has been directed to file counter affidavit. No counter affidavit has been filed.
Sri Some Narain Mishra, learned Standing Counsel, states that he has written a letter to the concerned officer, but could not receive any response and requested that some more time may be allowed to file counter affidavit.
As prayed, two weeks time is allowed to file counter affidavit.
List on 22.12.2014. Till the next date of listing, the operation of the order dated 14.10.2014, passed by the respondent no. 1, Annexure -6 to the writ petition, and consequential letter dated 15.10.2014, Annexure-7 to the writ petition, shall remain stayed.
