Argument is that impugned order has been passed on incorrect premises, in as much as, petitioner has disposed of required number of objections after the strike of lawyers and election duty was over.A detailed chart in this respect has been annexed.

It is further pointed out that in the similar set of fact writ petition filed by Som Pal Singh Rana i.e. Writ A No. 45364 of 2014 has been entertained by this court and interim protection has been given by assigning  reasons and therefore, petitioner is also entitled to the same treatment.

Notices meant for respondents have been accepted by learned Chief Standing Counsel.

He may file counter affidavit within six weeks.

As an interim measure, this court directs that till next date of listing operation of the order of suspension dated 14.08.2014 shall remain stayed. However, it is made clear that inquiry, if any, against the petitioner is to proceed in which petitioner undertakes to cooperate.
