Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

This is a short term (Parole) bail application filed by the applicant seeking permission to perform the "Triyodashi Sanskar & Shanti Paath" of his father in police custody on 29.08.2014.

The request for short term bail is refused. 

However, it is directed that the Superintendent of Police/Superintendent Jail, District-Agra shall take necessary steps in this regard after due information to the District Magistrate, Agra to the effect that the accused-applicant may be taken in police custody to participate "Triyodashi Sanskar & Shanti Paath"  of his father  on 29.08.2014 and after performing the said "Triyodashi Sanskar & Shanti Paath"  of his father  on 29.08.2014, the applicant shall be taken back to jail in custody itself. Meaning thereby that permission is granted to the applicant to participate in the "Triyodashi Sanskar & Shanti Paath"  of his father on 29.08.2014 in police custody.

With the aforesaid observation, the present application is disposed off.
