1. This writ petition has been filed seeking the followng amongst other reliers:

Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing Distt. Deputy Director of Consolidation/Deputy Director of Consolidation, Kannauj (Respondent no. 1) to decide the Revision Nos. 145/2013-14 and 146/2013-14 under section 48 of the UP Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 (Pratap Singh and another Vs. Gram Sabha) pending before him within a stipulated period which should be fixed by this Court.

2. It has been submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that although the revisions have been filed in the year 2013 yet even Stay application has not been considered and therefore a direction be issued for consideration of stay application expeditiously.

3. In view of the statement so made, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no. 1 to consider and dispose of the stay application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law after hearing all concerned parties expeditiously, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order before him/her.

4. It is made clear that this Court has neither examined the claim of the petitioner on merits nor expressed any opinion thereon.

5. Accordingly and in view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of.
