This writ petition has been filed seeking amongst other following reliefs:

Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing respondent no. 2 to decide the application of the petitioner under section 9 of UP Consolidation of Holdings Act for mutation of his name as original tenure holder as an ancestral property, whereas the name of predecessor recorded on the basic Khatauni of year 1356 and 1359 Fasli pending since 2012 and new number allotted in proceedings as case No. 271 of 2014; Rajeev Kumar Vs. Chhakkan Lal and others in respect of Plot No. 404 A, B measuring area 5.38 acre.

Since admittedly the objection is pending since the year 2012, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Consolidation Officer, Mainpuri (Respondent no. 2) to decide the aforesaid objection of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of  three months from the date of production of certified copy of this copy before him/her.
