Argument is that pursuant to the direction of this court Vice Chancellor has decided the issue but solely on the ground that at the time of extension approval of the Vice Chancellor was not taken, order has been passed. It is submitted that when initial appointment was made approval of Vice Chancellor was taken. Submission is that it is the initial appointment which alone requires approval and there is no requirement for seeking approval of the Vice Chancellor for extension. Reliance has been placed on Annexure V to the writ petition.
It is further submitted petitioners are working continuously which is also clear from the order of this court wherein while disposing of the writ petition status quo was directed to be maintained till passing of the order by the Vice Chancellor.
Notice meant for respondent no. 1 has been accepted by learned Chief Standing Counsel. Sri Ajit Kumar Singh, learned Advocate represents respondents 2 and 3. Issue notice to respondent No. 4. Steps will be taken within ten days.
List immediately after service.
As an interim measure it is provided that till the next date of listing operation of the order passed by the Vice Chancellor dated 11.7.2014 shall remain stayed.
Order Date :- 2.8.2014
