The sole relief pressed for by learned counsel for the petitioners at the time of hearing of this petition is that the District Magistrate, Ballia may take a decision on the representation dated 22nd May, 2013 filed by the petitioners for bringing the Institution on the grant-in-aid list of the State Government.

Learned Standing Counsel appears for respondent Nos. 1 to 5 while Sri Sanjay Chaturvedi appears for respondent No.6. Learned Standing Counsel states that the District Magistrate shall take a decision expeditiously.

This petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Ballia to take a decision on the representation dated 22nd May, 2013 filed by the petitioners for bringing the Institution on the grant-in-aid list of the State Government, expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioners.

It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the case which shall be examined by the District Magistrate in accordance with law.
