Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that being physically handicapped to the extent of 80 per cent, applied for recruitment as Safai Karmi in that category.  Para-13 of the advertisement, Annexure-1, provides that a person, who is handicapped of more than 40 per cent, would be eligible.  It has been argued that maximum extent of handicap has not been provided in the advertisement.

The candidature of the applicant has, however, been rejected on the ground that  the applicant is handicapped to the extent of 80 per cent.

Let a counter affidavit be filed on behalf of learned counsel for the opposite party.

List on 08.7.2013.

In the meantime, it is provided that the petitioner would be allowed to join the interview process.  However, final result of the applicant shall not be declared and shall be produced in court in sealed cover on the next date of listing.
