The petitioners have challenged the First Information Report lodged by the opposite party No.3 in case crime No.Nil of 2012 as well as 54 of 2012, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 IPC, at Police Station Kotwali Unnao, District Unnao.

The matter relates to the matrimonial dispute, which is likely to be settled through mediation. Therefore, at this stage we feel it appropriate to ask the parties to give their consent for settlement of dispute through mediation.

List on 11.7.2013.

On that date petitioner No.1 as well as respondent No.4, the complainant, shall appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Center established by this Court for settlement of dispute with their consent.

After mediation is over the matter shall be placed before the Court for order.

Since the matter is being sent for settlement of the dispute through mediation, we hereby stay the operation and implementation of the First Information report, as above, till the next date of listing.

We further provide that before the date fixed for mediation, the petitioner No.1 shall deposit Rs.3,000/- with this Court, out of which Rs.2000/- shall be paid to the complainant for her expenses.
