Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing counsel as well as Sri Kartikay Saran, Advocate for respondent nos. 2 and 3.

Petitioners who are 16 in number have approached this Court and their contention is that respondents have farmed a scheme known as Voluntary Retirement and Retrenchment Schemes. Petitioners submit that they  are fulfilling the parameter as has been provided under the aforesaid scheme and their claim should also be directed to be considered for the said purpose. Each and every petitioner claim that as far as they are concerned they have filled up requisite form in question on prescribed format and their grievance is that till date their request remains unattended.

Consequently in the facts of the case Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh State Spinning Mills Ltd. Kanpur is directed to consider and redress the grievance of the petitioners in accordance with law and within the parameter as provided for under Voluntary Retirement and Retrenchment Schemes preferably within three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of the order passed by this Court. 

With the above direction present writ petition is disposed of.
