Allahabad High Court
Suresh Chandra Sharma And Others vs State Of U.P.Through Secy. Nagar ... on 4 April, 2013
Bench: Pankaj Mithal

HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD, LUCKNOW BENCH

?Court No. - 23

Case :- SERVICE SINGLE No. - 8162 of 1993

Petitioner :- Suresh Chandra Sharma And Others

Respondent :- State Of U.P.Through Secy. Nagar Vikas Lko. And Others

Petitioner Counsel :- S.S.L.Srivastava,I.P.Singh

Respondent Counsel :- C.S.C.

Hon'ble Pankaj Mithal,J.

The petition was filed by 10 petitioners challenging the imposition of ceiling in respect of their salary. The petition is pending ever since it was filed in the year 1993 without being considered on merits. There is no interim order or any direction in the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as the petition has come up after a very long time, he is not aware whether the petition actually survives or the petitioners are interested to press it.

He further submits that the petitioners might have been regularized during this period.

In view of the above it appears that the petition has lost its efficacy  with the passage of time and is accordingly dismissed with opportunity to the petitioners to apply for recall of this order, if necessary.

Order Date :- 4.4.2013
