This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to quash the First Information Report dated 23.02.2011 registered as Case Crime No. 40 of 2011, under Sections 323, 504, 506, 498-A, I.P.C. and ¾ Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Phulpur, District Allahabad.

This matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Allahabad for mediation under order of this Court dated 18.03.2011.

Report of the Mediation Centre is on record. It is mentioned that the parties have arrived at a settlement which has been reduced in writing and duly verified. It has been agreed that there is no further claim or demand against each other. All disputes in that regard have been amicably settled.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition has become infructuous.

Writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Interim order, if any, stands discharged.
