The petitioner, Constable 460 Cp Pno No. 952340953, filed the present petition challenging the order of suspension dated 31.08.2012.

Sri Vivek Shandilya, learned standing counsel informs the Court that the Superintendent of Police, Railways, Allahabad vide his order dated 20.09.2012, has reinstated the petitioner with immediate effect. Copy of the order dated 20.09.2012 is placed on record. It also reflects that the same was also endorsed in favour of the petitioner. Thus, with the passing of the order dated 20.09.2012, now no lis survives.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
