The petitioner had submitted an application pursuant to the advertisement issued for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Boarder Security Force and Sashastra Seema Bal and gave option for all the aforesaid four Forces but according to the petitioner his candidature has been considered only for only one Force and not for the remaining three Forces.
Sri Upendra Nath Sharma, learned counsel for the respondents has placed before the Court the instructions received from the department. It is stated in the said instructions that the petitioner had indicated all the four preferences and, therefore, his case has been forwarded to the Headquarters for re-determination of the result and the petitioner will be apprised thereafter.
This petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to respondents to finalize the result within one month from the date of a certified copy of this order is served by the petitioner.
