Rejoinder affidavit filed today is taken on record.

This petition has been pending since the year 2005 and relates to seniority of Assistant Consolidation Officers. Although, private respondents have filed the counter affidavit but State-respondents have not filed the same.

Learned standing counsel prays for and is granted 6 weeks' and no more to file a counter affidavit, failing which the Consolidation Commissioner, U.P., Lucknow shall appear in person along with an explanation for not filing the counter affidavit despite order dated 19.07.2011 and stop order dated 23.08.2011.
