Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate. Gone through the writ petition.
The petitioners have approached this Court by means of this Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution with the prayer for quashing First Information Report relating to Case Crime No. 92 of 2012 under sections 147, 323, 504, 506, 447 and 448 IPC of Police Station Kaiserbagh, district Lucknow.
We have gone through the contents of the First Information Report. Since the allegations made in the First Information Report disclose commission of cognizable offence, as such, the same cannot be quashed.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that if he petitioners surrender before the court below and move application for bail, the bail application shall be heard and disposed of expeditiously by the courts below.
