HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD ?Court No. - 2 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 22607 of 1994 Petitioner :- Munna Lal And Others Respondent :- D J, Jalaon at Orai And Others Petitioner Counsel :- Yatindra Singh Respondent Counsel :- U K Saxena,Sc Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal,J.
List revised. None appeared on behalf of the petitioners. However, I have perused the record.
The writ petition is directed against an appellate order dated 27.5.1994 passed by the District Judge, Jalaon at Orai, allowing Misc. Civil Appeal No. 31 1992, filed by the defendants against an ad interim injunction order passed by the Trial Court in O.S. No. 198 of 1991.
Having gone through the pleadings and the grounds in the writ petition, I do not find any reason or error apparent on the face of the impugned order warranting interference under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution.
However, since the suit is of 1991; more than 20 years have passed. This Court finds it a fit case in which a direction be given to the courts below for expeditious disposal of the suit. In view of this, the court below is directed to dispose of the suit expeditiously, preferably within 6 months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, subject to the other business of the court.
With the aforesaid observations and direction, the writ petition is dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
