The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936 as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. In 1944, it was renamed as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Research assistant to study child care institutions.

Type of Internship

Data collection and data processing. Selected candidates shall be engaged for collecting data from child care institutions in the districts.

They are required to prepare weekly reports during the term of the internship.

The work includes transcription of data as well. The data collection phase will run for 45 days and it will include travel in the given district.

Ahmadnagar, Aurangabad, Nagpur and Yavatmal

Qualification

LLB (Fresher are preferred), MSW or any other relevant course. Applicant should have good command over English and working knowledge of Marathi.

Stipend

A fixed honorarium of 25-30 thousand per month.

Duration of Internship

3 months (45 days of field work for data collection).
