About Civis
At Civis, they work to enable effective dialogue between Governments and citizens, on laws and policies. Through its online platform Civis, they support the process of public consultations, i.e. help citizens share their inputs on upcoming laws with the Government.
Since 2018, Civis has worked on 900+ Consultations. Civis has been a recipient of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia award, Agami Prize for Legal Innovation, D-Prize, and two state government awards at the Maharashtra StartUp Summit and Vibrant Gujarat StartUp Summit.
About the Opportunity
The internship will be for a minimum duration of 12 weeks in the months of January 2025 – March 2025 and may be extended at the request of the intern, only after approval of the internship coordinator. An estimated 8-10 hour weekly time commitment for the internship is required.
Mode of Internship
The internship will be in remote mode.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Summarising draft laws and policies that are open for consultations and public feedback.
- Conducting research on upcoming laws and policies open for consultation.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested students of law and public policy, in their 3rd year or above, are encouraged to apply.
