Civis helps citizens understand laws and policies that impact them in simple language and enables them to share their feedback on these laws; while providing an avenue for the Government to understand citizen’s priorities and gather feedback on policies in real time.

Civis is a non-profit incubated by IIM Bangalore’s N.S. Ragahavan Centre For Entrepreneurial Learning and IIM Nagpur.

Opportunity:

Civis is looking for a dynamic intern, who has an interest in public policy and the ability to creatively simplify and visualise complex laws.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Simplifying complex laws and policy documents.
  • Creating creative explainers, with the guidance of our team to explain these laws.
  • Finding stakeholder groups impacted by the laws and conducting outreach.
  • This is a remote internship, where you can work from home. A weekly check-in on goals and achievements is mandatory. The minimum period of the internship is 2 months.

The internship is unpaid, but on successful completion of the internship, we will provide you with a letter of completion from IIM Nagpur and Civis.
