On Tuesday, three advocates were sworn in as Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court. Chief Justice Alok Aradhe administered the oath of office to Justices Ajit Kadethankar, Sushil Ghodeswar, and Aarti Sathe.
With their induction, the working strength of the High Court has increased to 69, as against the sanctioned strength of 94 judges. The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended their elevation on July 28, and the Central Government subsequently notified the appointments last week.
