1st BENNETT INTERNATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2024
The world is increasingly interconnected, and the need for a deep understanding of international law has never been more pressing. Bennett University is taking the lead in fostering the next generation of legal minds with a passion for international affairs. The competition is set to welcome teams from around the world, bringing together bright legal minds to engage in thought-provoking debates and rigorous legal analysis. Our theme for this competition is "International Criminal Law," a multifaceted area that plays a pivotal role in maintaining peace, resolving conflicts, and upholding justice in the international arena. As participants, you will have the opportunity to grapple with real-world legal dilemmas, hone your advocacy skills, and immerse yourself in the intricacies of international treaties, conventions, and case law. The Bennett International Moot Court Competition promises to be a trailblazing event that fosters intellectual growth, cross-cultural understanding, and a profound appreciation for the significance of international law.
Bennett University has established itself as the pioneer in the field of higher education and it is a privilege to seek your support for the cause of higher education. In this regard, Bennett School of Law proposes for academic collaboration interallia in the form of internship, placement, scholarship endowment funds and and sponsorship for 1st Bennett International Moot Court Competition, 2024 (BIMCC) in collaboration with University of Waikato, New Zealand from 5th to 7th April 2024 with a total budget of Rs 10 Lakh and Prize money of Rs. 1,45,000 for Winner, Runners up and individual performance. This event promises to be a landmark in legal education, offering a platform for students to engage in high-level moot court competitions and showcase their legal acumen. One of the major objectives of the Moot Court Competition is to recognise and promote the interdisciplinary study of law. Please find attached brochure and other required details.
