About T. S. Mishra Law School

T.S. Mishra School of Law is dedicated to providing quality legal education and prioritizing outcome-based education. The vision of T.S. Mishra School of Law is to promote Law courses, programs, curriculum, research, collaborations, and interaction through its faculty, infrastructure, and varied opportunities.

From the academic year 2024-25, it offers a fi­ve year Integrated B.B.A. LL.B. and B.A. LLB. program; one year LL.M. program (Criminal and Security Law/Constitutional and Administrative Law) and PH.D. (Full Time-Law).

By incorporating new-age learning technologies, the school offers competency-based, adaptive, and collaborative education which is also based upon the National Education Policy, 2020. About the Competition

T. S. Mishra Law School, T. S. Mishra University, Lucknow is organizing Dr. Shakuntala Misra Memorial National Article Writing Competition, 2025 on the theme “Criminal Laws 2.0: Understanding India’s New Legal Landscape”. The competition is intended to provide a platform to the law students across the country for their participation and showcasing their research and writing skills and abilities.

NOTE: The above-mentioned list for sub-themes is merely illustrative and not exhaustive and hence any other submission pertinent to the theme may be accorded consideration.

Eligibility

Students and Research Scholars, pursuing UG/PG & Doctoral Program in law from a recognized university/college can participate in this competition.

How to Submit?

Participants shall send by email to tsmlawcollege@tsm.edu.in with the subject “Submission for Dr. Shakuntala Misra Memorial National Article Writing Competition, 2025” with file “Name of the Author_SMAWC”. For Example, “Paras Mishra_SMAWC.”

General Guidelines

  • The Manuscript is to be submitted through the provided Google form on or before 15th February 2025. No submission shall be accepted after 23:59 hours of February 15, 2025.
  • Formatting Style: Font: Times New Roman; Size: 12; Line Spacing: 1.5; Alignment: Justifi­ed.
  • Co-authorship is allowed up to two members.
  • In the article, 15% plagiarism is allowed for the participants.
  • The word limit should be 2500-3000 words.
  • File Format: MS Word (.doc, docx) only.

Certificates & Rewards

  • Winner Prizes: 1st Position Rs 1500
  • Runner Up: Rs.1200
  • Second Runner Up: Rs. 900
  • A Certificate of Participation shall be issued to all the participants on the successful submission of the Article.
