On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Chief Ministers (CM's) of all states in the nation to review the security situation after the Apex Court pronounced the verdict in the Ayodhya title dispute.
Amit Shah requested the CM's to take the required measures to maintain law & order, said sources.
Earlier today, the Home Minister made an appeal to people of all communities & religions to accept the verdict & maintain peace & harmony.
Mr. Shah tweeted, "I welcome the unanimous decision of Supreme Court on Shri Ram Janm-Bhoomi. I appeal to people from all communities & religions to accept the verdict & stay committed to 'Ek Bharat-Shestra Bharat' having peace & harmony".
"I firmly believe that the historic verdict given by the Supreme Court will prove to be a milestone in itself. This verdict will provide strength to unity, integrity & great culture of Bharat," he said in a subsequent tweet.
Mr. Shah tweeted, "This has given a final shape to the legal dispute that went on for decades. I thank the legal setup & Judges for the same".
Another of his tweets read, "I am grateful to those who have strived for the legal verdict, all institutions, Saint community & uncountable unknown people who strived for it for years".
On Saturday, the Top Court directed the Centre to make necessary arrangements for the construction of a temple at the disputed site by forming a trust & give five acres of suitable land to Sunni Waqf Board for a mosque at an alternate location in Ayodhya.
