Job Description

• Conducting Trade Mark Searches & advising on availability of marks.
• Trade Mark Filing & Prosecution Work.
• Drafting, handling, strategizing, filing and advising on Trade Mark Opposition / Rectification matters.
• Drafting of Written Submissions for Opposition Hearings.
• Attending Show Cause / Opposition / Rectification Hearings before the Trade Marks Registry.
• Copyright Applications filing & prosecution.
• Design Applications filing & prosecution.
• Managing clients.
• Team building.

Eligibility

• Qualified to practice Law in India.
• PQE: 6-8 years in trademark prosecution.
• Independent handling of Trade Mark filings, prosecution, hearings, renewals and managing portfolios.
• Sound Knowledge of substantive and procedural Laws of Trade Mark, Design and Copyright in India.
• Proficiency in oral and written English.
• Proficient drafting, research, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines and supervise juniors.
• Strong client management skills.
• Long-term commitment.
