JOB POST: Research Associate @DIPP-IPR Chair @IIT Madras: Applications Open

Applications are invited for the post of two Full-Time Research Associate with the DIPP-IPR Chair at IIT Madras under the Scheme for Pedagogy & Research in IPRs for Holistic Education and Academia [SPRIHA].

Please note that this is a temporary, contractual position. The work will primarily involve legal research and writing in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) including case law analysis, writing op-eds and law review articles, and managing case law database.

The associates will be required to prepare research notes on decisions of the IP offices, IPAB, high courts, and the Supreme Court. They shall also co-ordinate and manage an internship programmes online and manage content on blogs/websites.

Eligibility

Candidates with LL.B. / LL.M./Ph.D (Law) degrees having not less than 60% of marks may apply for the post. Candidates are expected to join immediately and should be based in Chennai or willing to relocate to Chennai.

Salary

Research Associates will be paid a salary ranging from Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Terms of engagement will be for one year initially and may be renewed further.
