Central Silk Board (CSB) is a Statutory body established in 1948 by an Act of Parliament. It is working under the administrative control of Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

Job description

Central Silk Board (CSB) proposes to engage Panel Counsel(s) to represent the Central Silk Board or its subordinate units (CSB AND ITS UNITS) before the Supreme court, High Courts, ‘Central Government lndustrial Tribunal (CGIT), Central Administrative Tribunal, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum (DCDRF), State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (SCDRC), National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) and District and Session/Lower Courts.

The initial empanelment will be for the period of two years i.e for the period 01 042019 to 31.03.2021.

Eligibility

  • Be enrolled/registered as an advocate with the State Bar Council.
  • Having a minimum, relevant experience of 10 years of handling Civil, Labour Matters, Service, Land Acquisition, Property Laws, Taxation, Arbitration Matters and other cases before High Court with a fair associate with Silk industry and Textiles.
