Job Post: Ministry of Corporate Affairs Invites Application For Post Of Judicial Member: Apply by 19th December

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”), Government of India, has issued a circular dated 16.11.2023, inviting application for the post of Judicial Members in the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (“NCLAT”). Applications are to be submitted online at https://apptrbmembermca.gov.in by 19.12.2023.

There is vacancy in NCLAT for the post of two Judicial Members and the vacancies will arise in 2024.

• Qualifications for Judicial Member under Rule 3(11) of the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021

A person can be appointed as Judicial Member if he/she:

1. is, or has been, a Judge of a High Court; or
2. is a Judicial Member of the National Company Law Tribunal for five years; or
3. has been an advocate for ten years with substantial experience in litigation in matters relating to company affairs before National company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, High Court or Supreme Court.  

Age Criteria

Alongwith the aforementioned criteria, the candidate must be of 50 years of age on the last date of submission of online application. The term of employment will be 4 years, or till he/she attains the age of 67 years, whichever is earlier.

Salary

The Member shall be paid a salary of Rs. 2,25,000/- per month, plus other allowances as admissible.

The last date for submission of online application is 19^th December 2023 at 05:30 pm.
