About the Job Opportunity
SVS Attorneys is looking for 1 Associate & 1 Senior Associate for diverse roles in the fields of litigation, dispute resolution, and consultancy with a minimum PQE of 1 year (for Associate) and 3 years (for Senior Associate).
The candidate should be well versed with existing laws, capable of discussing legal propositions, giving legal opinions, online research, and having a keen interest in litigation. The applicant shall have to work on a
Physical-Offline basis at the Delhi Office.
However, if any fresher out of the law college with an exceptional CV applies for the post with minimum 6 months professional experience, then the aforementioned requirement shall be relaxed subjecting the applicant fresher to the assessment.
However, the CV must reflect the applicant’s distinctive exposure & exclusive dedicated experience in Court and Dispute Resolution practices with his specific dedicated flair for litigation.
Eligibility
- B.A. LL.B. (5 years) graduate (or equivalent).
- Associate: Minimum 1 year PQE.
- Senior Associate: Minimum 3 years PQE.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Mandatory knowledge of legal Hindi drafting and language.
- Proficiency with platforms like Manupatra, AIR Online, SCC Online, westlaw etc.
- Must be willing to work offline/physically at the New Delhi office.
- Candidates must reside within 8-10 kms of the office (or be willing to shift before assessment).
Location
New Delhi (Physical) Only. Vacancies for other offices are not being notified through the present invitation and candidates should not fill the form if not applying for the New Delhi office.

Remuneration
Remuneration shall be as per market standards of the place of employment, subject to clearing a minimum period of the physical assessment of 18-20 days (for Senior Associate) and a minimum of 30 -31 days (for Associate).
If the assessment period is cleared, then there shall be a Probation period of 3 months from date of confirmation post successful assessment, with a regular increment after every 12 months depending purely on the performance and overall assessment of the concerned applicant.
However if the assessment isn’t cleared to the satisfaction of the employer Office after the requisite assessment period, then the Applicant shall be advised to quit. Pay scale in such eventuality of confirmation for the probation period of three months as a Trainee Associate shall be between 20k to 30k depending on the performance during the assessment period.
While filling the Google form, therefore the candidate must categorically reflect his consent for joining as a Trainee Associate, for a probation period of 3 months post confirmation after assessment of 30-31 days.
The first three months shall be considered as probation period after the assessment, wherein a salary between 20k to 30k per month shall be paid. Thereafter, if the concerned aspirant is confirmed (post probation period), then salary shall be increased to a minimum of Rs. 35k-45k per month, revisable annually thereafter.
However if after the assessment of one month, it is found that the candidate is not fit or suitable for being taken forward in the probation period, then suitable intimation shall be given declining the continuation in the office. However, this is clearly conditional upon the candidate clearing the assessment and not being placed as a Trainee Associate for 3 months as mentioned above.
For undertaking the Assessment period, suitable stipend between Rs. 10k-15k shall be paid separately along with the first salary of the concerned applicant if the same applicant continues with the Chamber However, no stipend shall be payable if the candidate drops out in the middle or after completion of the assessment on his own volition and choice without continuing further with the firm.

Physical Offline Only @ Delhi Office.
The assessment period of 18-20 days (for Senior Associate) and 30-31 days (for Associate) of the concerned applicant shall be strictly in the Physical mode as the candidate shall be tested on various parameters about his/her capability to take assignments.
No request shall be entertained for any online assessment by any candidate.
