The Silent Sexism Project exists to catalogue instances of sexism experienced on a day-to-day basis. They might be serious or minor, outrageously offensive or so niggling and normalized that one may not even feel the reason to protest.
By sharing their stories they are showing the world that sexism does exist, it is faced by women and men every day and it is a valid problem to discuss.
Women in Law International (WIL) along with The Silent Sexism Project (TSSP) through this project aim to create a handbook for all those involved in matters related to gender-based violence (GBV) that is intended to be universal and enable international understanding and make a difference.
This Gender Justice Handbook will, using doctrinal and non-doctrinal research— train, sensitise and educate all stakeholders in dealing with matters of GBV in various forms and disciplines, having regard to key security concerns.
