The Daksha Fellowship is India’s first law, policy and business fellowship program for young and mid-career lawyers, public policy professionals and other graduates with a background in law.
The Fellowship is a one year, residential program with a contemporary curriculum formulated by internationally renowned faculty in collaboration with leading legal practitioners and industry experts.
The innovative pedagogy for the program-which includes workshops, labs and boot camps-has been conceptualized to equip scholars with specialized knowledge through a combination of legal and non-legal courses.
By combining academic rigor with top-notch curriculum design, industry exposure and global engagement, the Fellowship will enable young lawyers to hone their abilities and skills to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
Technology Law and Policy: In addition to general courses like data protection, cybercrimes and intellectual property law, this pathway will provide sectoral exposure to areas like telecommunications, financial technologies and social media.
Law and Regulation: This pathway will provide a conceptual understanding of regulation and sectoral insights on key regulatory domains like energy and infrastructure, food and the green economy.
Disputes Resolution: This pathway will provide a comprehensive and conceptual understanding of emerging areas in dispute resolution such as arbitration, mediation and conciliation.
All applicants are required to submit an online application through the Daksha Fellowship portal.
The program will follow a rolling admissions cycle. However, applicants are encouraged to submit the form in the early rounds to increase their chances of selection and financial aid.
Candidates selected for the Daksha Fellowship shall be considered for up to 100% tuition fee waiver. Candidates will be expected to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 20,000 upon acceptance of the admissions offer.
