ODR Expo Tech 2021: Ex Curia International Blog Writing Competition: Register by March 25

About the Event

ORD Expo Tech 5.0 is a five-day event from 26th to 30th April 2021, focusing on Online Conflict Resolution. It will feature speakers from across the globe along with interactive workshops, demonstrations and a technologically cutting edge networking space. With this competition, we aim to increase awareness about the evolving ADR space and bolster a global engagement with ODR.

Eligibility

This is a great opportunity for students and professionals worldwide to express their views, arguments and opinions on the future of ADR in the pandemic and its intersections with artificial intelligence and the digital space.

The winners will get a chance to get published in the ECI Blog and the ODR Latino America Journal, along with winning other exciting prizes!

Participant Guidelines

• The competition welcomes all submissions in the following languages – Spanish, Portugese & English.
• Multiple authorship for a single piece is allowed but limited to two co-authors.
• All blog submissions should be between 1000 – 3000 words. Some leeway may be taken with the same if it is necessary to establish a particular local law or context regular readers/assessors may be unfamiliar with.
• Submissions must be in electronic form. All submissions must be word-processed, single-spaced in Garamond, font size 12 and justified. The sub-headings should be uniformly numbered in roman numerals. The prescribed word limits are not inclusive of footnotes.
• Any submitted content should be original work or due credit must be attributed where necessary. All submissions will undergo a mandatory plagiarism check.

Submission Rules

• Submissions must be sent to blogs@excuriainternational.com with the subject  ODR Expo Tech Blog Writing Competition. All submissions must be accompanied with a covering letter, containing the name of the author/s, institutional/organisation affiliation, title and category of the submission and a contact address of the author, including the email address and the phone number. Submissions should be sent as MS word (.docx format) attachments with the title of the article as the file name.
• The body of the submission must contain no identification of any kind, including the name and institutional affiliation of the author, which must be provided in the covering letter and email body. This is to ensure proper peer review.
• Only footnotes may be used as the form of citations. Endnotes shall not be accepted. All footnotes must be in Garamond, size 10, single-spacing and justified. The citations are derived from The Bluebook: A uniform system of citation.
• All entries must be submitted before 25th March to be considered.
