About Vocal Fest 

Vocal Fest 2023 is an event to encourage voicing opinions and sharing ideas. The fest primarily consists of two major events: Debate Competition and Extempore Speech Competition. The event will also consist of fun games and social time with exciting gifts. 

The fest will comprise primarily of two major events: 

1. Debate Competition

2. Extempore Speech Competition. 

Eligibility 

Students pursuing any undergraduate degree (BA LL.B/ B.Com LL.B/ BBA LL.B/ B.Sc LL.B/ BA/ LL.B/ B.Com/ BBA/ B. Tech etc.) from a recognized university can participate in the Vocal Fest. The same person shall not be allowed to participate in both the Debate and the Extempore speech competition.

• Participants should form a team of two members to participate in the Debate Competition. Both institutional and cross- institutional teams are allowed.
• The Extempore Speech Competition shall be an individual event.

Note: Students pursuing post-graduate degrees and professionals are not eligible to participate in this competition

Registration Process And Fees

Participants can take part in ONLY ONE of the following two competitions:

1. Debate Competition
2.  Extempore Speech Competition 

• Participants will have to register through the given Google form link given at the end of the post. 
• Payment must be made using the payment link. The Proof of payment must be uploaded in the registration form before submitting it.

• For Debate Competition: Rs. 600 per team
• For Extempore Speech Competition: Rs. 300 per participant

For Debate Competition:

• Best Team (For the motion): Rs. 3,000
• Best Team (Against the motion): Rs. 3,000

For Extempore Speech Competition:

• Best Speaker: Rs. 3,000
• 1st Runner-Up: Rs. 2,000
• 2nd Runner-Up: Rs. 1,000

Certificates and Trophies will be issued to all prize winners, along with Internship Opportunities at Canon Sphere.

All participants will be eligible for the following:
