The Literary and Debating Committee of National Law University Odisha (NLUO) is a student-run committee responsible for contributing to the budding debating culture in the Eastern debating circuit of India.
The tournament would be held completely online on Zoom and Discord. This year we would be following these Gender Diversity and Adjudication Policies.
Gender Diversity Policy:
The VII NLUO BPD 2022 will be implementing a gender-diversity policy at registration that requires institutional contingents to have at least 50% non cis-male persons. The policy would be followed strictly. However, if any specific contingent genuinely fails to meet the above-mentioned criterion, you are requested to drop us a mail at litdeb@nluo.ac.in. The request will be assessed case to case basis and the decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding.
Adjudicator Policy:
All registering institutional teams will be required to follow N-1 Adjudicator Policy wherein for N Registered Teams, they need to register (N-1) adjudicators. However, if the institution registers only one team, then they have to register for at least one adjudicator. Furthermore, all cross teams will be required to follow N=N Adjudicator Policy.
