About the Policy Debate

The Policy Debate is the flagship panel discussion of the Debating and Literary Society of Government Law College, Mumbai where topics of contemporary relevance are fiercely debated and discussed by
field experts.

About the Opportunity

To further academic discourse on the subject, a policy review is also organized by the Debating and
Literary Society. The review involves submissions from students, academicians, and lawyers from across the country on the same subject as the Policy Debate and serves as a great opportunity to expand the scholarship and literary discourse on the topic.

Eligibility

All undergrad students across various fields.

General Guidelines

  • Submissions for Policy Review should not exceed the word limit of 1500 words (inclusive of endnotes).
  • Co-authorship of a total of two authors is permitted.
  • All submissions must be in the Word (.docx/.doc) format, along with the following
    guidelines.
  • Font – Times New Roman, Size 12
  • Page Border – 1 inch on all sides.
  • Citation – All sources must be appropriately cited by using hyperlinks. Wherever hyperlinks are not available, endnotes can be used by conforming to the MLA citation method.
  • Plagiarism above 15% will not be condoned.
