legal education through various courses Like BA LLB, BBA LLB (H), BCom LLB(H), LLB, LLM and PhD.

About the Event

School of Law & Constitutional Studies, Shobhit Deemed University, Meerut in collaboration with National Human Rights Commission is organizing, One Day Basic Training Program on Human Rights and Penal Discussion (by students) on Saturday, 15th February 2020. 

We are all aware that protection of the dignity of an individual is essential for harmony in the society, as its violation, can have a grave impact on individuals in particular and on society in general.

Each individual is entitled to some rights which are inherent to human existence. Such rights should not be violated on the grounds of gender, race, caste, ethnicity, religion etc. these are called human rights.

Human rights are also known as basic rights, fundamental rights, natural rights or inherent rights. The concept of human rights is not a new phenomenon, ‘Human Rights’ is a twentieth-century term but its notion is as old as humanity. It has gone through various stages of development and has taken a long time to become the concept of the present day.

Who can Participate

Academicians, Judges, Advocates, Police officers, Law Students, Members of NGO working for the protection of Human rights, other people interested in Human rights.

No Registration Fee. Participation Certificate, Lunch and a free kit to all participants.
