About the Institute

The Kirit P. Mehta School of Law (SOL) of SVKM’s NMIMS (Deemed-to-be-University) established in the year 2013 approved by the Bar Council of India aims to provide quality legal education in order to meet the aforementioned challenges.

Program Overview

B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)

  • Opportunity for learners: To specialize in Humanities along with Law under the B.A., LL.B. course
  • Political Science, Economics, Sociology and History: Subjects in this course that allow learners to imbibe the knowledge of law.
  • Critical Thinking, Legal Writing, Moot Court Internship and Professional Ethics, among other subjects that the students get exposure to.
  • Selective foreign languages are taught to give learners an edge for their international outreach and communication.

B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)

  • Opportunity for learners to specialize in Management along with Law under the B.B.A., LL.B. course.
  • Human Resource Management, Accounting, and Statistics – subjects in this course that allow learners to acquire management skills.
  • Critical Thinking, Legal Writing, Moot Court Internship and Professional Ethics, among other subjects that the students get exposure to.
  • Selective foreign languages are taught to give learners an edge for their international outreach and communication.

Eligibility

  • The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent exam from recognized board from any stream in the first/one attempt and should have obtained minimum 50% aggregate marks.
  • Either CLAT or LSAT Score is Mandatory for B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) & B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) program/s.

Note: Considering LSAT score is subject to change and the same will be informed to the registered candidates.

Selection Process

  • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of CLAT or LSAT score & the program/campus preferences for the course given by the candidate at the time of online registration.
  • Separate Merit List will be declared on the basis of CLAT or LSAT score.
  • The preferences once given in online registration cannot be changed later.
  • The merit list will be put up on the NMIMS website as per important dates.
  • The decision of the Institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
  • Candidates are required to update 12th marks & CLAT or LSAT Score in the online application form on or before the last date of registration. No score will be accepted after the closure of registration. The candidate will not be considered for merit list if they fail to update the same or their result is not available during this period.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure correct CLAT or LSAT & 12th score is entered in the online form.
