About the Organisation

Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) is a registered trust founded by Mr. Julio Ribeiro, Dr. R.K. Anand, and late Mr. B.G. Deshmukh to increase public participation and activism towards creating a more transparent and efficient governance system. In furtherance to its vision and mission, PCGT is organizing a one of its kind Certified Training on the Right to Information as well as the Right to Services.

Features of the Certified Training

This certified training on RTI/RTS is one of its kind in the city because:

• Participants will receive a holistic training – not just about the importance of RTI/RTS but also the recent amendments and the DOs and DON’Ts in filing an application.
• The training will be provided by persons who are highly experienced in the working and implementation of RTI and RTS.
• The certificate for the training shall be awarded to the participant only after the participant has filed an RTI application through PCGT within a period of two months from the day of the training, thus ensuring that participants actually make use of the training.

Kindly note that only 30 seats are available for the certified training. Your applications will be assessed by the Trustees of PCGT. An email will be sent to selected participants along with the Resource Material latest by 19th February 2020.
