LENTERA HUKUM is an open-access and peer-reviewed law journal, published three times a year. Published in association with the Faculty of Law and the Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism, and Migration (CHRM2), this journal is dedicated to encouraging scholarly attention and advancing the intimate knowledge of recent legal discourses.
It accommodates high-quality manuscripts relevant to the endeavors of scholars and legal professionals with fundamental and long-term analysis in the light of empirical, theoretical, multidisciplinary, and comparative approaches. This journal recognizes that the boundaries in the study of law have become increasingly porous. So too, there is no longer a distinct divide of law, politics, and society. The publication in this journal reflects and values this intellectual cross-fertilization.
The journal welcomes the contribution of manuscripts on contemporary legal discourses in the light of theoretical, doctrinal, multi-disciplinary, empirical, and comparative studies. Manuscripts may comprise articles (7,000-10,000 words), commentaries (4,000-6,000 words), and book reviews (1,500-2,000 words). Please send the manuscript four months before the schedule for the upcoming publication (April, July, December 2020).
The focus of the journal is legal studies. The scope of the paper submissions includes constitutional and administrative law, corporate law, criminal justice, adat law, international law, international economic law, human rights law, and intellectual property law.
Authors are invited to follow the journal’s technical guidelines and style sheet, which may be downloaded by clicking here. Authors are also encouraged to download our journal’s citation style, Canadian Guide to Uniform Legal Citation (McGill Guide), from Zotero.
