In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 79 (c) of the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948, the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board hereby makes the following regulation to amend the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board Assistant Engineers (Civil) Services Regulations, 1970.
- Short title and commencement.- (a) These Regulations may be called the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board Assistant Engineers (Civil) Service (Second Amendment) Regulations, 1985.
(b) They shall come into force with effect from January 1, 1985.
- Substitution of the Regulation.- In the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board Assistant Engineers (Civil) Service Regulations, 1970, for Appendix A, para 5, the Regulation as set out below shall be substituted :
Appendix 'A'
- The selection shall be made by a Committee consisting of :
(i) Member of the Board [under Section 5 (4) (b) of Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948].
(ii) One Member of the Board (to be nominated by the Chairman).
(iii) One Chief Engineer of the Board (to be nominated by the Chairman).
