An Act to repeal the Rajasthan Preventive Detention Act, 1970.
Be it enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the Forty-seventh Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
- Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Rajasthan Preventive Detention (Repealing) Act, 1996.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
- Repeal of Rajasthan Act No. 23 of 1970.- The Rajasthan Preventive Detention Act, 1970 (Act No. 23 of 1970) is hereby repealed.
