About the College

The Vidyavardhaka Sangha stands as one of the prestigious educational institutions in the heritage city of Mysuru. It was established in 1949 by great visionaries, namely Late Sahukar Channaiah, Sri Na. Bhaddraiah and Sri K. Puttaswamy (Former Minister of Karnataka) to impart quality education to all sections of society.

Late. Sri K. Puttaswamy was a true Gandhian, social worker, and political leader who dedicated his whole life to the betterment of the downtrodden.

Eligibility

Eligibility for participation in the competition is open to all law students pursuing 3 or 5 Year integrated courses or any equivalent law program from any law college/ department/ university recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Team Composition

  • Each recognised institution is permitted to register only one team for the competition.
  • Each team shall consist of three members only, and once registered, the team size shall not be changed under any circumstances.
  • Any change in team members may be allowed only with the prior permission of the Organising Committee, at its discretion, and only upon showing valid reasons.
  • Each team must include two speakers and one researcher.

How to Register?

  • Each team shall register for the moot court competition by filling out the online provisional registration form—QR Code for provisional Registration given on page 12.
  • Once the provisional registration is done, the team shall mail a soft copy of the Registration form (Annexure I), Travel form (Optional), and the Bonafide Certificate Annexure III) along with the details of the payment to the corresponding email address vvlcmoot@gmail.com, upon which the team participation and the registration will be confirmed. The team shall be allotted a “Team Code”, and the same must be used for the memorials and for all purposes during the Competitions.
  • Registration after the given deadline shall not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Each team are required to nominate and enter the details of a primary Point of Contact. Such a person must be a participating member. All communication concerning the Moot shall be sent via e-mail to the nominated person.
  • Changes in contact details of the nominated persons, if any, must be duly communicated to the Organising Committee.
  • Participants are required to bring a hard copy of all Annexures and submit the same at the desk, i.e., on 27th March 2026.

Important dates

  • Last Date of Registration: 25th Feb, 2026.
  • Memorial Submission: 9th March, 2026
  • Dates of the Competition: 27th , 28th , & 29th March, 2026

Awards

  • Winner – Trophy + 20,000/- (Cash Prize)
  • Runner-up – Trophy + 15,000/- (Cash Prize)
  • Best Memorial  – Trophy + 4,000/- (Cash Prize)
  • Best Advocate (Male & Female) – Trophy + 4,000/- (Cash Prize) each.
  • Best Researcher – Trophy + 3,000/- (Cash Prize)
  • Participation certificates & Mementoes for all teams
