Regular functioning of Delhi HC and Subordinate Courts suspended till 30th June; interim order extended till 15th July [Read Order]

On 15th June, 2020, taking suo moto cognizance of the extraordinary circumstances arising on account of COVID-19 pandemic, the Delhi High Court has extended the period of suspended regular functioning of itself and Subordinate Courts till 30th June.

The Court stated:

"Now taking note of the prevalent situation in Delhi, Hon’ ble Administrative and General Supervision Committee of this Court has been pleased to order that the regular functioning of this Court as well Courts subordinate to this Court shall continue to remain suspended till 30.06.2020."

In view of the above, the Court also further extend the implementation of the directions contained in interim orders dated 25th March, 2020 and 15th May, 2020 till 15th July, 2020 with the same terms and conditions.

The matter shall again be taken up on 13th July, 2020.
